Default one side 1/2 inch lower

after installing tien stech passanger side rear is higher than driver side? I've put the car back on the lift and double checked everything, all bolts are tight, spring is seated properly, etc.. I've ridden for over 2 weeks hoping it would settle but still uneven. Anyone else have this problem?

the springs are not adjustable, but their coilovers are.

i wouldn't advise cutting the springs either. i would just contact tein about it and see what they can do for you.

I have the same problem with my TRD springs. The front passenger side rides higher than the driver side. But I think it's due to me not driving anyone around in my car so all of the weight is on the driver side.

the springs shouldnt be sagging that easily, assuming that you are not 500 pounds

LOL. That's the only reason that I could think of.

It seems like the springs just needed to settle. It's been about a month now since I've lowered and it seems to be real close to even now.

I emailed Tein and they seemed eager to help. I told them I would get an alignment and them contact them again if it's still uneven.

I'm getting the alignment this weekend and it sould look better after the camber is corrected.

Double check the way your springs sit against the bottom and the top of the strut parts.

I found a height difference with my TRD springs.. I took the higher side, front passenger, strut out, and found out that the spring was rotated about 180 degrees out of position! (it was the first strut we worked on, so no resl surprise) Using a spring compressor, I repositioned it then reassembled the car, and -- problem solved!

Hope this helps,

-K

My goldlines are tiny bit higher on the passenger side as well (like 1/4" front and only like 1/8" rear), but most likely due to nobody rides passenger hardly. Not really noticable unless you take a tape measure to it. I havent checked to make sure everything is lined up proper since install on the front though either...

lol dayum i have the exact same problem by passenger side rear spring is about a half inch higher, i also have tein s-techs' had them on for about 2 weeks now i think, haven't gotten an alignment yet either, i tryed tightening the bolts but it still sits a little bit higher, not really noticable though. I might try and take it off again for the third time and see if we have it rotated wrong or something but probably won't do this until i get some rims. too much a hassle =P, but yea if you figure out why its raised half inch higher, please let me know.

That'd be funny if the passenger side ends up being lower than the driver side.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one with this problem.
