Default Tein S-Tech - any reviews in regards to city driving

Heard mixed reviews about the Tein S-Tech. I would like to go TRD but can get scion tc Tein S-Tech springs at very good deal today.

It says 1.5 inche drop. Will I scrape on speedbumps or is 1.5 inch drop just good enough to pass over safely? I see the TRD says around 1 inch.

How about performance wise? Is it worth it? Let me know.

I had the S-Techs and it looked great. I think the S-Techs go lower than a 1.5" drop. Mine were 2.4"F and 2.0"R, I think. Can't comment on the speedbumps as I didn't have the springs on for very long, but I didn't have many issues with them as long as I drove over them carefully.

Performance-wise the TRDs will be better. In my experience, drops over 2" will give you positive camber (negating any negative camber you have) when you start getting aggressive with the turns. It is outside the optimal range for suspension geometry. This is mainly in auto-x/track days. With street driving, however, the S-Techs should handle just fine.
