I've caught the mod bug, now looking at taillights. My favorite looking ones are the Helix red/clears (or maybe smoked) and TYC Euros second, but I've heard the Helixs aren't at all bright. I've seen the Altzetta "stoplight" ones looking good on Camo and black XB's but might not be the best on my TCM. Opinions?
I voted TYC. I think they actually got them right. Smoked stockers are cool too.
There are some other sick ones from Japan though, but hard to find, and pricey.
Personally I would avoid the Stoplight ones... They just scream Ebay to me!

Thanks... I definitely think they look best on BSP, because of the black trim.
You know, on a TCM, the stockers would look good cleared out. I've seen a few like that. It's free, but kinda hard to do. There's a how-to thread somewhere. If you're confident that you could pull it off, that's always an option.
I broke one of mine trying this though.

I like the idea of using the stock lights and do something to personalize them, like smoke them a different color or some vinyl overlays. the TCY's and the others are showing up everywhere. need to be different.

He also does the full red-out, smoked with or without reverse covered.

Yeah maybe smoking them like your red tails would be the ticket... trying to be monochromatic. I should just try bluebatmobile's 3/10 overlays and see how they look.

Although I originally looked at the TYC taillights, I felt that they looked to much like many cars with Euro lights (Nissan Maxima for example). I chose the "Stoplight" style since they were more unique and their are larger areas that are black. I think they do look great on the BCP and should look great on any dark colored xB.
Here is a pic of mine.
