Nitrous question..
Has anyone used Nitrous on a tC2?
I'm trying to figured out what's the limit of how big a shot the stock motor can handle.

Nitrous put on about as much ware as turbo does. If done with a right tune its completely safe. The difference with nitrous is your not always spraying so in all honesty I'd like to think it puts less ware than turbo
My guess is that you can put as much power safely as you would with a turbo kit. The problem you see with nitrous is when people get a kit, they get a unit that doesn't change too many paramters on or from their ECM as a piggy back does or better yet, a stand alone unit that has the most paramters and room to change fields. This makes them more prone to failing to make power or to make the engine run safely. You could get a kit and run it using a piggyback or standalone, yet it is costly. Realize that you will have the same risk in engine failure as with a turbo kit, without mechanical faults of the turbocharger itself, etc.
COMPLETELY WRONG ^^^^ obviously has never ran nitrous ... there's only a risk if you don't set up a safe system ... you can do a 50 shot with out having to do any serious work to the car ... also a wet kit in my opinion is better bc with a dry system you have to upgrade the fuel lines , pump and injectors , where in a wet you don't have to do that unless your running 100 shot or more ... I'm planning to do a 50 shot with a wet single nozzle kit ... dry system is easier to install but you better have upgraded fuel system bc if you ever run lean you will cause major damage to your motor ... for me a wet system is just easier to maintain safe

so damage from elevated temperatures does not occur. Since the purpose of N2O injection is to make more heat, this may sound like a contradiction, but it isn't. With N2O, the total amount of heat energy released is greater, but the peak combustion temperature is lower."

You know what nitrous does way more often than turbos? http://youtu.be/9bRbd3-Myg0
But if your like Honda & Mustang fanboys & just strap a NOS kit to your car without any or non adequate safety measures then something's bound to go wrong.

Your just as ignorant as everyone else ... If you don't install safety precussion then of course your going to blow your motor ... If you have a window & time your shot to go only at the appropriate rpms & etc you will be ok ... But if your like honda & mustang fanboys & just strap a nos kit to your car without any or non adequate safety measures then something's bound to go wrong
lastly, do not call me ignorant. I don't know everything, but on this subject, I know enough.
A properly set up N2O system is just as potent as a properly set up turbo/super charger system. All 3 can cause premature engine failure if not properly set up or tuned & have the right safety measures. And I didn't call you ignorant for your lack of knowledge I said it b/c you posted a useless video of a NOS backfire
when I could also Post a million vids of Turbos blowing pistons through the hood of a car. NOS is not for everyone but neither is Turbo or Super chargers ... It's a personal preference & this guy wasn't asking for your opinion on whether you like it or not he was asking how much our engines can handle.

Nitrous actually lowers the cylinder temperatures this was demonstrated to me on an old chevy 350 with a 75 shot of nitrous that's job is literally to just do dino pulls all day long on my 2nd day in my power and performance class, Room had a huge banner saying "Nitrous does not blow up engines improper application and use of Nitrous blows up engines" Nitrous has a bad name cuz its cheap and people abuse it.
