you should head to the junkyard first.....just a thought....if that has been done already...ummm....i dont know.....

let me ask my friend if has one in his junk right now......he had like 4 last week...heheh...brb...

he said he may have one....but i told to him to go check and confirm.....he said they go for about 50 bux ...how does that sound? let me know....

got a pic? i explained it to him the way you did to me....i actually cut and paste what you said....just to be sure....

hey its the plastic pieces right under the steering wheel the two plasic pieces and a matter of fact there are a screw on each side holding the two plastic pieces together and right when u insert the key in the ignition it is those pieces

I'll check at work tomorrow and see what I can come up with. Unfortunately, I'll be by myself and probably pretty busy (boss went on VACATION!!).

I'll let you know.

Toyota/Scion actually sells those two pieces together under one part number:
45286-1904-B1
List price is $66.10 brand new. (plus tax of course)

It is called the steering column cover.
