View Full Version : OMFG! Armrest!! lecterman 02-15-2004, 03:51 AM Is this the answer?!? (http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10101&AID=10273849&productId=2440&TID=101&catalogId=10101&langId=-1&PID=673632) rbloedow 02-15-2004, 03:53 AM Wow - thanks for discovering what we've already discovered. lecterman 02-15-2004, 04:11 AM Your welcome. :x Nice attitude BTW. jatt 02-15-2004, 04:20 AM good find, but fugggly IMO. who needs and armrest, both hands should be on the wheel. quadraphonic 02-15-2004, 04:28 AM Go JDM or don't bother.. aftermarket armrests just don't have the right look or feel to them. iy0ga 02-15-2004, 04:28 AM old topic.....they put Bucket seats bc only hags drives with there right hand scionracerxb 02-15-2004, 05:02 AM ya...i think someone ordered one and it wouldn't fit :? quadraphonic 02-15-2004, 05:03 AM The JDM wouldn't fit? drandolph 02-15-2004, 05:43 AM I heard it wouldnt fit either so far ive only seen two versions. Mine. http://66.75.235.174/uploads/photos/107.jpg and this one. http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3168&highlight=arm+rest+vegas I think this one is better than mine but its alot of work.[/url] quadraphonic 02-15-2004, 05:45 AM I don't see why the JDM wouldn't fit.. pretty sure the center console is identical. drandolph 02-15-2004, 06:01 AM its my understanding that it screws in from the side and its 5 1/2 wide and the center console is 3" wide at the back and tapers to 8 inches in the front so the body twist when its mounted that way. quadraphonic 02-15-2004, 06:03 AM Ah.. I thought it mounted into the rear cup holder.. :( Or maybe that's just the JDM Echo arm rest.. 02-15-2004, 06:47 AM I heard about that same armrest that is supposed to insert in the rear cup holder. Still waiting to see it, I could use one. I have a long arm! fr130 02-15-2004, 12:03 PM I'm not sure about anyone, but when I drive i really wouldn't need an armrest. My right hand will just rest on my leg or control the 5oclock position of the steering wheel. I do sit a bit more upright and the auto tranny selector is so low compared to the seating height, that I forget that's it's there. |
