View Full Version : "0" offset !!! MyBoX 02-15-2004, 06:09 PM Hello Everyone, I know what offset means and does but when they say "0" offset, does that mean it will push the wheels all the way out?, thanks Sean sithscripter 02-15-2004, 06:16 PM Either of: 1. The mounting surface is right at the center line of the wheel. Which would push it way out, but not as far as a negative offset. 2. Someone forgot to enter the actual offset into the database and the value defaulted to zero. superjeer 02-15-2004, 06:20 PM lol, I'm guessing #2. Check this out, it helped me understand what I needed to know: http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=348 MyBoX 02-15-2004, 07:03 PM Thanks for the replies guys, Hope it's the second situation, but if it actually has 0 offset would it work on Xb on 16x7 or 15x7 wheels??, Sean DJ_X_Trodinaire 02-15-2004, 07:40 PM there actually 0 or negative offset ford aerostar has 0 offset daytons spokes or for low riders sithscripter 02-15-2004, 09:14 PM What's the wheel? MyBoX 02-15-2004, 10:07 PM DT-05R, that's the name he gave me for them, Sean EL_PAALO 02-15-2004, 10:19 PM If you're talking about the wheels below, I don't think they're even offered in the correct PCD. http://www.tougefactory.com/dt-05r.htm http://www.tougefactory.com/images/hypersmall.jpg MyBoX 02-15-2004, 10:44 PM WoW, thanks for the link, that's the one but as you mentioned they are only in 4x114.3, I better call the guy again to see what he has, thanks Sean silkywilson 02-16-2004, 02:42 AM Alot of Datsuns use a "0" offset.. 510s and 240Zs.. Kendo 02-21-2004, 12:45 AM 7" width wheels with ET0 would be way too aggressive on a Scion (assuming you don't have fender flares). The wheels would stick out of the fenders close to an inch per side in the front, and probably about a ½" per side in the rear. 2fixA 02-21-2004, 03:01 PM ooh, oooh, the old mini-truck look!! hrm, well the lowest I've seen is the teens offset on M@'s xB, search for "M@ Camber", should be the first thread... but a little extra than flush doesn't look bad on the xB MyBoX 02-22-2004, 04:13 AM Thanks for the info guys, Sean DenZinz 02-22-2004, 05:10 AM The Veilside 350z has a - offset in the rear...The car is sick! I actually saw it tonight on the transistion from 605n to 91 e. ScionVan 02-26-2004, 01:22 AM You guys should see wheels with negative offsets in the teens, and widths in the teens too. Vipers would be jealous... M@ and Wes has seen them. I'll post pics in a little while.. :) |
