Opinions are hard to get when THEY DON'T KNOW.
No worries, you're bound to get some good/helpful opinions from those who do know.

K&n intake gives 10hp

my intake was a one-off ___ of a project. no filter and it was a "straight hole" design. definitely the best at the time but was a joke cuz it couldn't work for long. maybe 5 minutes tops cuz that's all i could push out of it. too much ____ would get messy internally.

it's been my experience that iceman and aem give the best performance for most applications. don't think iceman makes one for the scion yet though. deffinately go with a cold air setup though. something that gets the actual filter out of the engine compartment for the best results!!!

hahah.. just read the dyno results! it says what each intake produced for power on a ru n SCIONIC mark did..
hes awesome.. spent his own time so that we can see the results before we purchase.

i wish we can see those charts and numbers on every performance products we bought.

anywhos.. all intakes are nice.. i just think AEM is a little over priced..
EL, injen, k&n are all under 200 bucks and gives u 2-3 hp easy.
anyways.. goodluck with ur car.

if you want the bling blingy chrome or powdercoat action, go K&N or Injen

if you want to go with something a little more stealth and with a little more hp ;) go with the SPFR

everyone who has the SPFR intake loves it, and everyone that has a Injen or K&N loves theirs!

so buy what you want, you'll be happy with whatever intake you buy :)

Maybe this type of post could be finished off if we had a post giving ALL of the intakes on the market a dyno run.

soon enough, but I thought we settled on Injen as being the top tested so far...
