Default 2.5" exhaust

I have plans for a Weapon R Header and S-Pipe in the future, that says it bolts up to factory exhaust. Well i am about to get exhaust ran and my plan is 2.5" all the way back from the stock S-Pipe no scuba. I order a 2.5" stainless 2 bolt flange and 2.5" cherry bomb the short one, and a stainless tip. My concern is the factory scuba is 2.25 pipe is this correct? will the 2.5" exhaust bolt up to and seal against the factory S-Pipe, since the weapon r s-pipe is 2.5" and bolts to the factory scuba. Pictures, Thoughts, Advice, all welcomed

First of all why a 2.5? Are you going for Forced Induction? Absolutely will lose lower end powerband. Sometimes bigger is not always better in this case.

I am not going mandrel bent on the 2.5" so it will have some backpressure, motor will be NA, later on down the line i would like to do cams pistons, head work. The factory S-pipe and scuba inlet are close to 2.5"

until you properly use the tailpipe cut-outs on your rear bumper, 2 thumbs down.

I love it, i ran the exhaust where it is though because when i get the weapon r header i am going to have to run an additional muffler which i will angle out the back some. It is so deep until you open it up, then there is a little rasp. To each his own though.
