I am about to order a 6" round Magnaflow to replace the scuba. The question is do I get the 18" long one or the 27"?. I have come to the conclusion through my research that the scuba is baffled. If that is the case, I can probably get away with the 27" to up the sound level to something I can actually hear, without getting any drone or rasp. It just makes me crazy that the car comes with such a cool custom exhaust and is ends up being quieter than my wifes totally stock xb.

Just put a straight pipe in place of scuba I did it to my 2012 with the center trd exhaust and sounds super

Do you have any sound clip of this? I have been searching since I bought the car in 2010 for a clip of this particular muffler with a scuba delete. Also, do you have any rasp or droning issues? I drive 50 miles a day, so I can't be having any of that craziness. But I definitely want it a little louder than it is now.
