Give it a while longer, it'll show up unless you've bolted the non-fouler fix on.

Yet........

Sorry to say it, but you will probably get a CEL. There has been countless times that I have reset my ECU by disconnecting the battery and clearing the light with a OBDII to get rid of the CEL since I installed mine in December. It can come back after 10 miles of city driving or even 150 miles of highway driving. I did the anitfowler trick a few weeks ago and the CEL hasn't come back.

ACTUALLY....by definition, a header is a large pipe that connects 2 or more smaller pipes. the DC "headers" being a 4-2-1 system, do this twice, having 4 primaries, that run into 2 coupling headers, then into a single coupler, therefore being referred to as headers , while the megan and alphaworks system(s) is/are 4-1, (4 small primaries, into 1 large secondary coupler header), therefore textbook defining it as a single header. instead of trying to one up the poor guy and make him feel like an ___, why dont you do some simple research in the automotive world, because if you want to be so technical about it, its actually just an exhaust manifold...

on every board there is the great... HEADER debate...

4 cylinder or inline 6 motor has a Header...

a V6 of V8 has Headers meaning 2 seperate parts...

either way you all mean the same thing...

Hey for the definitive answer, just look up the Scion tC application on DC's website and see what they call it. :blah:

Funny you tell me something about "making the guy look like an ___" when my intention was only to clarify it, and here you're trying unsuccessfully to do the same thing to me. Hypocrite.

the reason i did it to you is because you made the attempt at "clarifying" it to him when you had false information. theres a difference between my motives and yours. you wanted to make yourself look the brighter/smarter/seasoned car veteran because you just HAD to let him know he had a "header", when in fact, you were wrong. so sorry if that chaps your ___, but you really didnt need to chime in at all when all he was implying was that he recieved no CEL upon installation.

where do you pick up the non-fouler at?

You don't know me, or my motives, so you can stop assuming and speculating at any time. It's really pretty amusing how hyprocritical your argument is. I never professed to be a seasoned car veteran, nor did I attempt to spread false information. I even linked you to DC's site where they clearly call it a "header" but I guess they wouldn't know either.

If I was wrong about it I could have very easily admitted so, I learn new things every day and I don't profess to be the authoriity here. If anyone's ___ seems chapped here, it's yours.

don't reply, I won't read it.

Ask the parts store for an anti-fouler. They should have one... check here for someone elses instructions and pictures

Note that you want to install it in the SECOND O2 position.. the idea is to create a differential in the two readings to trick the ECU into thinking that the first cat is still in the system
