Default HELP!!! I F***ED UP!!

Hey everyone. I'm new to the forum. I kinda screwed up... I have an 06 tc. Recently the bulb under the gear shift went out so I was popping that panel to replace it. Somehow I guess I snapped part of the shift release button off and now in order to shift to drive or anything besides park I need to manually press the piece that is still on there. This means I need to keep the console off.
I already know I'm an idiot so please don't comment if that's all you have to say. I was wondering if there is a way to replace this piece without getting a whole new shift assembly. Someone please help! Thanks...

Your best bet would be to go to the dealer and explain what happened. That's not something people usually break so I doubt you'll get much of a response.

You can try looking through TRDSparks part catalog, but there's no guarantee that it's listed.

The Scion dealer. Since you broke it, the Nissan dealer isn't liable for anything.

Post pics of the piece you're talking about, someone may have what you need.
