wow nice mod.. i like the redlinetuning hood lift. I looked at their site and saw the video. If only they made it like the xb with 2 of them.

How come they sell 2 for the xb for 59.99 and only one for tC for 59.99...

hmmm

You know, I'm not sure. I was thinking of maybe adding a 2nd one, but one really seems to work just fine. 2 makes it symetric.

It's not bad, but a 2nd one would be a plus

I bought the led's from here http://www.lc-led.com/View/itemNumber/98, used the how to here https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...=37747&start=0 and dug in.

You can get a 15watt soldering iron from radioshack...it's not bad, just patience

The second one would also increase time between replacements I believe, as the pistons do end up wearing. Of course, if you go twice as long and have to replace two, then costwise it is the same, but at least it would be longer between.

But back on topic... that looks great! Very good job on the mods so far. Where did you order the carbon fiber cover?

I agree, I'm leaning towards 2 of them.
Thanks
I got the CF cover off ebay, then went down to the local graphic shop and for $5.00 they cut some letters for me.

That looks great, and those blue leds on the odometer are sweet, I must do that, as soon as I finally get my car fixed.

Hope I see it next time I am in the st louis area! I am getting my parts together to do the interior and engine bay soon... I will post pics when it is finished! I was trying to wait for the AEM to come out.. but getting restless :-) I have decided to replace the factory sub with my own fiberglass box (planning on building it sometime soon.. during all my "spare" time ) And doing all blue lighting on the interior (mine is IIP). Again, thanks for the info and good job on the car!)

Look me up any time your in town. When you get the sub box made, shoot some pics. You would probably be the first with custom box fitting TC

What is the approximate amount of leds in the dash cluster? The center console? (not including stock radio)

ScionDad...didn't I read a while back that you bought this car for your daughter? Have you kinda taken the car back now with all the mods you've done, or is it still hers? lol Just wondering.

If it's still hers, she's a lucky girl. =)
