Anyone have a tutorial on how to remove? I swore i could of remembered that someone had made a post to remove it. I know its just a single bolt, but after that, what covers it up? I dont want any water getting in there. Also, if you remove it, can you put it back on if you wanted to? Also, what is a good filler? I dont want to see that metal bar right there..

 

i also wanna know this too. we def. need a tech on how to remove it and what to cover the hole with.

 

For sure, my system kinda destroyed mine and now my wiiper is kinda putting bevels in my glas from the vibrations

 

I think I remember reading Randode had some covers for the motor if you just wanted to pull of the wiper arm. As for removing the whole thing, I can't remember where I saw a cap to fill the hole.

I'm leaving mine on, unused, until I can get the Fab kit and shave the whole back hatch.

 

There are some DIY removal instructions. I hit them while looking for something else on stereos. They're out there, try the search.

 

Remove the cap on the wiper, then remove the nut. After that, the wiper will come off.

To remove the motor assembly, remove the rear backing of the hatch and you will see what you need to do.

 

to fil that hole temporarily, you can find grommits at any automotive supply

 

I looked for the grommets but i couldnt find anything. I looked at auto-zone and at homedepot.. Can i see a picture of a "grommet," so i can get a better idea of what to look for.

Yep.

Carefully remove the plastic cap. 10mm screw takes off the nut. Wiggle and pull on the wiper then till it comes off.

I used the Scion Fist Attenna ball to cover it at first, but now am using a Jack Daniels No. 07 golf ball
