Default Removing U-clips from shift cable bracket

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone have any tips on removing the U-clips above? I am installing a TRD short throw (instruction to this are poor) and I remember when I installed and Uninstalled the axxion I touched those clips and they did not move... Do I need to unthread/unscrew anything, special tools or anything? Please Help

Mine were super tight. Grabbed with pliers and pulled...once I got mad and added a few cuss words, they came right out.

Trd shifter installed! This is how I wanted the car to feel. Guys the relocation of the cable is well worth it. No more clunk from 1st to 2nd like I had with the Axxion which I had installed only for two days and could not take how crapy it felt. Guys don't make the mistake I did trd is the way to go with this mod!
