Default Please Help!

I tried searching before posting without any luck. I have an 08' TC that is not starting. The battery is new and all the lights on the dash turn on fine, but it does not turn over. No clicks, no sounds nothing! It turned on fine yesterday so i'm not sure what happened in the last 12 hrs. If anyone can help out that would be awesome! Thanks!

No starting issues prior to this? Get your alternator tested. Sounds like your alternator could be bad. You got some charge off your battery but the alternator isn't charging the battery up while driving which is draining your battery even though its new. So now you don't have enough voltage to turn the car over. Had this happen on my old 04 explorer. It died while my wife was driving on the highway going 70mph. Car just turned off due to now power as the battery got drained from doing all the work. Luckily she got off the road safely.

Is it a stick? I believe there is a sensor to tell if you have the clutch pushed in.

If your lights are shinning bright but when you turn the key you hear no "click" it sounds like a dead starter.

Altenator and starter give you signs of going bad. You speak of no signs of going bad. If you have a manual transmission, try pushing the clutch ridiculously hard into the floor and I bet it'll fire up. Sensor's going or something, the clutch doesn't think it's pushed in all the way. Let us know.

Thanks all for the help! I actually had two issues with it. Clutch sensor was bad, but after that got fixed battery was still being drained. Had to change the alternator as well. Thank you all for the help!
