anyone had to get their windsheild replaced yet? if you did did the glass place have it in stock or did they have to order it? im in az so i fear this will take a while. one of my two rock chips have started to split out and i definately need to get it replaced...

Welcome to the Arizona broken glass club :)
mine has a 10-12" split now, I've called a couple places and heard "What's a Scion?" at both....if you get ahold of someone, let me know cause I need to get mine done before it splits all the way across...If I can't find anyone to work on it here, I just may take it back to Carson Scion...who knows :)

Hey maybe we could have a broken window AZ club. Mine has a big chip in it too.

Should be able to repair it before it cracks.

Speaking of "whats a Scion?" A couple of months ago, before I got mine, I asked an employee at a Toyota dealer when they would have demos. She said....."Oh those are just experimental cars" Just love it when the customer knows more than they do. :) LOL

I take mine to Larry Miller Toyota. The oil change took less time than the people standing around my car did :) I may have to nab a whole bunch of scion literature when I go to LA again so I can hand it out to the local yocals...

I think it's funny that we all have the same color xB's and have cracked windshields :)

I had mine replaced the first weekend I got it. Saturday night I picked it up sunday morning I wake up to a crack in the windshield. Much props to Piercey Toyota for helping me out and covering the cost!! I now have three chips in it since then and I am happy to have little chips then a whole crack! 8)

Ive gone through 1 windshield already...I got the xB in August.

is that true insurance only replace the wnidshield if the crack bigger than a dollar bill?

Or if its in the line of sight with the driver.

i got a small crack on the windshield also. Does anyone know if they have aftermarket windshields? and how much is it to replace it? Hopefully no more than 300.

actually ... got it from All Star Glass .... dealer wanted $800 installed .... All Star was the only place that had it aftermarket (ppg glass) ... they're national so check to see if they have one in AZ
