My tC was attacked
Unbelievable.
A passing Plymouth on the street just projected a hub cap at my parked tC outside my office window. It rolled across the parking lot and shifted directions sharply to assure a direct hit with the front bumper of my tC. What are the odds. See the damage below:

I had similar damage that happened in a wierd way... more on that in a second. What fixed it was that I bought a clay bar and tried it... it really worked on about 99% of it. If you squat down and get about 18 inches away and know where to look you can still see damage but standing up a foot or two away you'd never know it was there.
Ok, what happened was that there was a square piece of plywood in the road, about 18 inches on a side. The road was a highway, in this case a 55 mph one. The car in front of me drives over the board, and between driving over it and the wind turbulence from the car, the board decides to stand up in the middle of the road on its edge. I have cars around me on all sides (man I hate dallas traffic) and there's nowhere to dodge, so I get as far over to the right as I can, but I hit it on my front left corner. The board was painted black. I get to where I'm going and get out and look at it and it looks just like yours except the scratches are black.
Anyhow the clay bar worked and I think its worth a try.
