All in all it feels good. Intake, header and exhaust. I should dyno my car again.
A real deep sound to the exhaust as well.

yeah, that's what I thought... and heat tape would look tacky =\
squirrel 02-17-2004, 02:49 AM wow, that exhaust looks nice.
OT: what springs are you running? and how's the ride? the reason why I ask is, it appears the top five or six coils are touching each other.
HotBox 02-17-2004, 02:51 AM mikochu i have a friend name mike and i nicknamed him similar you your user name its mikamon

scary... people also call me Mikkoman (like Kikkoman soy sauce)...
i got it, very nice deep throaty sound, it has that jdm angled look too
SoCalbBox 02-17-2004, 02:40 PM I think they are going to offer an alternative cut to the tip so it sticks out about 3/8" so you can read the logo a bit and avoid any potential heat issues. I put the exhaust and header on the nite before exposed and so far no issues with the bumper.
CubiXBb 02-17-2004, 02:51 PM Looking good! Ordering mine soon :)
SGVside 02-17-2004, 06:18 PM Clean exhaust. Its not too small or big or funky looking. I like it.
ShadowMage 02-17-2004, 07:31 PM That is VERY nice! 8) Looks a little close to the bumper up top there but other than that very clean!

camoboXb 02-27-2004, 09:27 PM SocalbBox: Thanks for posting those photos again. Looks great! Is it very loud or annoying while cruising on the highway?

Its been a month now and no signs of burning. Might be more easily visible on white.
no burn on mines either, its very nice, love the throaty sound
no sign of burning here, maybe its just bad isntallation
ShadowMage 03-01-2004, 03:45 AM no sign of burning here, maybe its just bad isntallation
How many miles have you been running it? What's the longest trip you've taken since you've had the exhaust (miles wise)? The reason I ask is because, as far as I can tell at this point, the burn on Hotbox's xB was from when he took a long road trip. :?

No long road trips since the install. The longest I've gone was to D1 this weekend.
I talked to DC about the cut this weekend at D1 again and this tip is based off the inside point on a slash cut tip. The outer most part of the slash cut tip will be used for the straight cut tip instead to avoid any burning. I hope that makes sense.
