Hey guys, thought I'd bring up the neon thread here. If anyone needs any info etc about installation feel free to msg me. My kit was the $99 "street glow" kit from best buy. I was really surprised it was so cheap, it came with everything from the switch to wire holders, fuse box, transformer etc.

I just installed the white neon under my xB this wknd and I'm a little dissapointed =/ I was hoping it would stand out a little bit more. I was wondering if anyone has pictures of their ride with lights other than white.

Here is a picture, and if u want more just click the link:

I think it looks alright. I dont think the photo really lets the viewers appreciate the look. That is something you need to see in person. Have ya thought about clearing your headlights?

I like the color changing L.E.D. lighting kits. They are bright as hell. The kit you have is o.k., But it just isn't bright enough IMO.

All I can say is, it could be a little brighter. Other than that, it looks cool :D

those led ones are too solid of a beam... the neons look better cause it spreads the light under the car and not at a certain point... the X in the front looks cool though... not feeling a line of light under the car though

I don't think that's an X. I think its the blue light cutting across a white line on the ground.

after seeing LED bars that color change i thought they were neat....then night came.....and i told my buddy to put his neon bars back on.....the glow from under the extremely low trans am looked way better then a solid line along the side and back and front....L.E.D.'s had no undercar glow that lit everything up like his neons....on ebay the neon kits are around 80bucks....i think i know which way im goin....

how hard are these kits to install?

how hard are these kits to install?

Very simple. Depends what the kit comes with. May be cable ties, maybe plastic brackets with screws and cable ties. Just depends on what it comes with. :)

I'm doing LED's. You take a hammer to neons, one blow they're gone. LED's are stronger inside the lexan tube.

All you have to do for the LED kits is wrap them in a defraction gel... a $20 investment...

I am installing my Lite Glow kit as we speak. I have three of them mounted and i am just about to do the last one. I got blue neons and i tested them last night and they are very bright and you also dont see the lines on the ground like you do with leds.
