Default pedestal spoiler vs. lip spoiler

I decided I like the Ground Effects Kit as it is subtle and helps fill out the car without being real ricey.

If you had the ground effects kit installed, which spoiler would you go for. I sorta like the pedestal .. bug I guess Im just very wary of getting to ricey looking.

Pics? Opinions?

First time I looked at the pedistal, I hated it...disgusted me...

I saw one in person...and thought...wow, that's awesome...

More and more I see it, the more and more I like it...

Now I want one...

I have the ground effects kit. I like it for the same reasons you mentioned. I also have the Lip spoiler.

The pedestal wing IMHO looks ricey. But it does look better than one of those Pep Boys aluminum contraptions. Then again, a picnic table would look better than one of those.

Do you need a spoiler? IMO, the tC looks better without the spoilers. The ground effects are good though.

The ped is not rice. The one thing you will find is people with lip spoilers do not like ped and people with ped don't like lip. Me personally liked the lip spoiler and hated the ped spoiler when I saw the pictures on scion.com. In person I was dissapointed with the lip and pleased with the ped so I went with the ped. I do not want rice and I got teh ped spoiler. It does not stick up high at all.

If you like the low-key, european look, go with the lip.

If you like the edgier, sporty look, go with the pedestal.

If you want to look like you're going to take off with your tC, go get a wing at Pep Boys.

I have the Ground Effects and the Pedistool Spoiler and I assure you it does not look ricey. Man I wish I had a digital camera.

It's not all about height, the pedestal spoiler just looks weird to me. It looks like it has Down's Syndrome with the way the sides seem to droop a bit. I have nothing against people with pedestal spoilers, I just think they're ugly.

I have the pedestal on mine as well. Like some of you, I thought that it would stick up too high and look ricey. But I got the car and it doesn't at all. Wait till you see one in person to decided whether you hate it or not. It looks a lot different in person than it does in pics. I personally like both, but I wanted a sportier look so I went with the pedestal.

Yeah well I think there are others who haven't, yet they hate it based on pics they've seen. I was the same way. It's all about having an open mind.

I didn't make a judgment until after I saw it in real life. I had read that pictures didn't do it justice but when I saw it I was disappointed.
