I new to Scionlife.com. I just purchased my 05' PW Xb, 2 days ago. I've been looking/searching at alot of different things'. I did some research, and if its' already been mentioned, I apologize. I've searched so many different pages...

Anyhow I think the first couple of things I'm going to end up doing first to the xB would probably buy the JDM bB emblems on both front/rear part of the car. Then at the moment i'm looking at the "OEM Fog lights". I wanted to go for the clean JDM look.

I found the site trdsparks.com that has alot of JDM parts' for scion owners. Anyway, my first question would be, if I bought the US OEM Foglights seperately and not at the dealership, if I went to them to get it installed would they install it, and would they honor the "warranty" on the item.

2nd, it says on the site that JDM Foglights do not fit in the US plug. I'm alittle confused as to what they are talking about.

Paying $350 for a pair of foglights is a bit expensive, but finding them for $217 w/ shipping is a deal, I can't pass up.

1) Ask your dealer. I'm for certain they will install, but can't say for certain on the warranty. I couldn't see why not tho

2) You're right about the JDM fog plugs not fitting right. IIRC, the plugs are different in a way that they don't "mate" correctly, so you may have to do a little soldering or rewire work. Someone did an install of JDM foglights with detailed pictures and DIY step by step... can't seem to find it at the moment.... :( sorry
