I am looking at a wheel that only comes in 45 & 38 offsets. I know the 38 offset is good for the rear but how will the 45 on the front do? These will be 18 x7.5 with 215/35/18. If the 45 up front is no good will a 3mm spacer do the trick? Need input ASAP. Thanks

Just spoke to the wheel guys and they no longer have 45 offset so will a 38 offset work on the front? Thanks

if this is for a xB.....+38 will be good all around. to be flush the xB is best with a +35 front and +25 rear

+38 is fine up front as well as in the rear--you shouldn't need any spacers at all to fit them.

And no, they won't stick out past the fender.

Cool

I just dont want to have to worry about rubbing issues with this being my daily driver.

Unless you go down about 3-3.5 inches in the front you don't have to worry about it. Or you get some really high profile tires. Or both.

What do you guys think is the biggest profile I can go with if I lower it about 2"?

I've heard that 40's rub with lock to lock steering, so I'd just stick with 35s.

I've got the 35 series tire and the 45mm offset and haven't had one rub. You should be fine with the 38mm.

T he 35 series tires suck if u drive alot . With the bumps on the roads and highways . I have 40 's on my wrx and she rides sweet. But 35's on my xb and the ride is totally diffrent. There exactly the same set of tires . i put on about 100miles a day
