Picked up my Polar White xB last night. Woooohoooo!!
At 8:30 p.m. last night, I said goodbye to my black 1997 Toyota Tercel and drove away from the dealership in my brand-spanking-new Polar White xB.
I am so excited! :D
A couple of things I've since discovered...
1) If your back hood isn't closed properly, the keyless remote won't lock your car.
2) My stock CD player was one of the ones with the CD-skipping problem. Unfortunately, I didn't discover this until this morning. I brought it to my dealer and they are going to order a new one to replace it. From what other people on here have discovered, there's a TSB (technical service bulletin) issued by Toyota about this problem with the stock CD player, but I forgot to ask the dealer to verify whether or not the CD they installed in my xB had that problem. So, for those of you who haven't picked up their xBs yet, and are getting the stock stereo/CD player, make sure to ask your dealer to check that the CD player they install in your car isn't one of the ones that doesn't work.
Anyhow, I'm still amazed by how great this car handles and how smooth it drives. It's awesome! As soon as I get some pics, I'll post them.
