I was passing in a passing zone. I did nothing wrong. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. If I wasn't passing then yes.

Man, I am sorry to hear that! And an illegal imigrant!!!!! Meaning no insurance! I hear these stories every day and it makes me more ane more ____ed. I am sure there will be at least one person who will cry "you are being unfair, they are still people, you are racist against them... blah blah". So before that happens, I will say I am not against people from various cultures whatsoever, I AM against people coming here to live illegally when it is so easy to become a citizen to start with. These people are practically imune to the law in a sense (INS gets them first, if they get deported, they dont pay for their crime here. I personally know of this happening even for larger offenses.) So I feel your pain. I'm glad you were calm enough to miss the poles, and happy you got out of it ok!

glad to see you are safe and well

he can pass on the opposite lane if the center lane is a single dashed yellow or if it is two yellow lines(where the opposite lane has solid yellow and you have a dashed yellow). if it was a double solid yellow line, then it would be illegal.

good to see you're okay

Kinda surprised Huey didn't know much about 2 lane blacktops ... my DE teacher always tells his story of how he tried to pass in his old VW beetle w/ 40hp... hehe... driving behind big 18-wheelers... ::insert comedic story here, I won't waste your time (though I already have)::
