Default Drive by wire issues

I have seen random opions on the dirve by wires issues with the TC ie.... Lag before and after depressing the gas pedal. Someone mentioned the camry is suppose to be getting a fix for its issues i imagine it woudl be the V^ model first because i know those ones have a major issue with that i have driven several of them and they have it really bad. I was wondering if anyone has any news about a fix for the TC. If this thread has already been posted sorry for reposting it i did a search and could not find one directly for this issue.

I notice very little lag but it could be better. I guess that accounts for the signal being sent to a processor that has to send the info to a unit that engages the throttle.

ECU upgrades can eliminate the lag.
I know that when I step on it, I want it to go. There is lag.
I may need to investigate a few ECU options
