Man, i gotta say, theres very little space behind the dash to run any wires through.

I love the simplicity of removing the front panel, 2 screws and the panel pops off.

I ran an 8 gauge through the driver side and a speaker wires for high input through the pass. side. I spliced into the grey wire of the radio for the amp remote turn-on.

I have the amp negative bolted to the left seat mount (a little sanding for good contact).

Oh, I'm running a 10" Rocford Fosgate Puch DVC and Puch 360 Watts RMS amp.

unfortunately, i was short on time so i didn't get a chance to take pictures.

the most time consuming part was rounting the wires under the seats.



it didn't sound as good as i anticipated, i need to twiddle the the amp setting a little more


Roford Fosgate say to balance the right and left gains, but when i set these gains to the same position, theres no bass; in order to get any power to the sub, i had leave one gain all the way to minimun and up the gain on the other

dude, your speakers are out of phase. you need to reverse the negative and positive on one of your bass speakers. that will fix the problem. then put the same gain for both speakers. don't crank it all the way, just go like 40% and see how it sounds. let me know if you have mroe questions.

I would triple check your (+) and (-) connections and then get a second opinion. It really sounds like a out of phase issue.

How are your inputs hooked up? High level or low level?

Are you using the factory Deck? You might need to get a line level converter to up the ohm level to the amp. But definetly check all your wireing for the deck to the amp to the subs.

You mean you need a line level converter to lower the output coming out of the deck to the amp so you dont blow the level inputs right? Ohms are only determined by the sub configuration you use. It has nothing to do with voltage going into your level inputs.

all i can say is that if you can fade it to one side or the other and the bass is fine, but when it is in the middle you hear no or poor bass, then one wire is switched. don't switch both wires, just on one speaker.

the yellow is the RL+ and the black is the RL-, i took someone advice and it was wrong
