I think it's a great idea, I hate the way car manufactures keep adding plastic covers and shields all over the place, I like too see the motor when I pop the hood and I haven't seen a cover that I didn't want to smack the designer with a claw hammer because of. I'd really like to see a well done valve cover to get some of that useless plastic out of the engine bay.
