It is perfect for puting bends in the bills of hats. It puts a nice curve on the bill if you leave it in there for a few days. The best way to do it it push the hat in with the bottom of the hat toward the from of the car so that one side of teh bill is curved touching the top part of the cubby hole and the other side of the bill touching the bottom part of the cubby hole.
