My xB is back! Remember this thread? I got the car back today. It still needs the black vinyl around the rear window, but that's going on next week when it comes in. The total was $4891, but I did go to the best/most expensive place in town. They also put some eDead in the two right side doors, it rocks!

Wow, nearly 5 grand to fix. Wouldnt that be near totalling? Or does it have to be two thirds instead of one..

 

Not sure on what the percentage is to total a car, I think it varies by state, and by insurer.

 

i was taught in auto collision technology it has to be at least half of the total value of the vehicle, but it didnt make the airbags go off so no it wouldnt be totaled, now if he would have hit you in the front door/fender then yes it would have been totaled.
