Default Question: Ref. to Perrin Products?

Any updates on the Perrin products? specifically on the Lighter crank pulley? i was under the assumption they had a fitment issue at one time has this been resolved or was this an improper install?

The first pulleys were made wrong. I found that out when I got mine and went to install it. I sent it back and then had to wait 2 more months for them to make a pulley that fit. They are fine now as I have the revised version on my Xb.

anything noticable by the ___ dyno? I was hoping to see a slight increase in throttle response from it.

well, my butt dyno showed a better throttle response when just revving the motor. but going down the highway it felt nothing.
after sone other lightining projects, i noticed the power band has moved lower in the RPM's. and topping out the rpms is better...
but nothing drastic from just the pulley.

do you feel it was a good purchase?

I'm considering it and was wondering if i should just go ahead and get it or if i should put monies to better use elsewhere for now.

depends on what mods you have done so far....
if this will be one of the first, don't do it yet.

i did an AEM CAI, then i installed this pulley...if i had it to do all over again, i'd have saved up a lil more and gotten some strup headers and exhaust first instead

Injen C/A/I, Thermal Research & Development Catback, and A grounding kit. Been debating doing the Dc header due to the fact if i'm taking customers back and forth as we do, i was hesitant to add anymore tone to the exhaust. May have to see or hear for that matter one thats been done. But i have been contiplating it also because i was looking at boosting too. which is alot queiter altoghether. and a waste of monetary needs.

i would do the strup header over the dc...(i have the dc now and am troubled by it rusting...)
the header does not make it louder...

boosting...which way??? that determines if you should get a header...

Strup header? i honestly havent seen it or specs on it, do you have a link?

And as far as boost, definatly Turbo charging... S/C doesnt satisfy me needs enough and personally for the 45-55 hp gain. i'd just as soon as throw a bottle on for that.
