I want to know what would be better for our car? Would turbocharging be better for our engine and gain more power for less or Supercharger will give it less stress and more power.

I can bring up some SC points that will make a better arguement for the SC but why should I if there is already a thread dedicated to this very same topic.

ah I agree. I've had a Turbo and a SC... it's not worth a new debate... so much info out there on both... pro and con.

in all honesty if there's an bigger displacement/higher powered engine out there that'll swap in with little modificaiton that'd be the best route, IMO (keeping in mind you have a good and reputable installer/fabricator handy). just like the honda guys you could t/c or s/c the existing SOHC motor but it's more efficient and more cost effective in the long run to go with the DOHC motor. they'll be naysayers saying differently but fact of the matter is you'll be starting out with a powerplant that has more displacement and a even bigger aftermarket support.

of course, if you just want something to bolt right up no problem then it'll depend on what you plan to do with the car, how much power you're REALISTICALLY want to put out and how much money you're willing to spend to get it that way. both routes can be efficient and reliable but it depends again on what you plan to do with the car. saying what's the "best" route is too generalized to choose the one right for you. if you just want a little bit more grunt in power and something fairly simple that you won't want to fiddle with later on i'd say go with the s/c. most people get tempted to up the boost on turbochargered kits without compensating for other variables such as tuning. this usually more often then not translates into engine damage for the novice enthusiast.

it may seem like a lot of info but thorough research check of all kits you're considering, pick which one would be best to suit your own needs and you'll be a lot happier in the end.

Uhh the tC is already a dual overhead cam, not single. Besides 2.4 liters is plenty big for a four cylinder, any swap we do would have to be to a bigger v6, which would be pricey. In any case, it would be cheaper to put on a turbo or supercharger, and you'd still be getting more horsepower.
