I just installed my cf hood yesterday, heres some pics from it. Hope you like it.. any feedback is welcomed.




I also got tanabe df 210's but haven't installed it yet.. for those of you who have a pet-peeve over "wheel gap."

The carbon fiber hood looks especially good on TCM. The color contrast is not contrive. Very nice! I will have to get one for mine.

What is the weight difference between the CF hood and the OEM -- does anyone know?

I agree. Not too much of a color difference. Not sure on the exact weight difference but I can definitely tell there is a difference when I was installing mine.

How straight was the hood? I've seen quite a few carbon fiber hoods at car shows that weren't all that straight. Lots of them had dips and waves in them.

 

What kind of hood is it and how much was it?

 

I bought it used but in great condition saturday. I can't verify on what type of hood it is, but its double sided and i paid 160 for it, a great deal.

 

fits nice. Some look like hell, but yours looks tight.

 

Hood looks great! I have ordered a license plate relocator so that I don't have to drill out the front. If you don't have the front plate in CA you can be pulled over and the rest of your car inspected.........
