Just got back from picking up my new xb, camouflage with the spoiler, subwoofer, interior lights, floor mats and fog lights. Got from Scion of Orange just outside LA on Saturday. In six days we've already put pver 2100 miles on it. I'm saving up for the TRD turbo and sway bars.

My wife thought I was nuts for wanting this box, but now she's head-over-heels for it. Drove it back through the mountains of Nevada, Utah and Wyoming and it did great. As others have said, it could use some more pick-up on the highways, but I did average 85 throughout and even got the little guy up to 105 when I-80 levelled out near Salt Lake. Managed to only get one ticket, in Wyoming doing 89.

This is THE perfect city car. I spent two days wipping it around Palm Springs, three flying through SF and am now enjoying it in Mile High. I've gone on for way too long, but it's great to have so many people out there who love this car as much as I do.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your new ride! I was also amazed how well it took the mountains on my way back from Carson to AZ. This baby just loves to cruise at 80!

Get's caught by the crosswinds a little, but that's not too surprising at all. What I was blown away by was it's stability at high speeds and in the corners. There's a little body roll, but overall it just feels planted, at least as good as my Volvo, and in some cases better.

How effective are the sway bars in eliminating the roll?

Congratulations on the purchase, glad to hear your gettin so much use out of it. I've heard alot of great things about the hotchkis sway bars, and I know from experience the frame brace and strut tower bars make a huge difference. Good luck on future mods, keep us posted :)

i also noticed that when you get behind a semi, the wind coming around the truck will buffet both sides of the xB causing it to sway from side to side. No biggie just a result of the high-sided xb......:)

Yep, flew all the way out, and was very happy to not have to fly back. :D

People in Denver are totally thrown off by the box, almost no one here has heard of it. I'm kind of enjoying the stares.
