Neckbonenick and I are thinking of getting together to offer some easy to follow plans (including a full materials list and instructions) for building a sub enclosure to go under the front passenger seat.

He's spent hours and hours and has done the hard work of building a prototype that I could use to make some illustrated instructions that would be very clear and easy to understand.

The idea is to take all the frustrating guess work out of doing it from scratch, and to enable all those do-it-yourselfers out there to save some money compared to buying an already made enclosure.

 

I've been considering doing this myself. I'm torn between an install that I can show off (box in the back), or an install that's invisible to the criminal eye (under the seat).

as far as i know, it's still up in the air. from the poll, it looks like only 8 people responded, and I was one of them, so that makes 7.

if more people were interested, it would be easier say yes, but at this point, it's tough to say one way or the other.
