Kicker L5 and L7
They have a great sound, but are expensive and are notorious for tearing up very easily... I have a friend that blew 2 12" L5's and another friend that blew 1 12" L7 just through daily use.. I believe the corners of the surround ripped in both cases.
Ive got 2 12 inch L7 in a slot portted box and i love them, i think there right below the Jl w7 that are about twice as much, the L7 are really nice sounding and i would highly recommend them
I have one 12" L5 in the back of my ride. A great amount of bass from a 1.25 cube/ft box. I thump mine all the time (130 miles of total driving each day) and it hasn't busted yet. I have heard two L7's in a ported enclosure and they rock. Not sure how one could bust one, but I have had nothing but good luck.
I had a 12"l7 running off of a kicker 800.2 whick pushed like 1000 watts at 4 ohms and that sucka hit hard and begged for more. great sub and can operate in little airspace.
L5 is the lower model get the L7. Expensive but a great product. I hit a 145db in my protege 5 with stock battery and a 1 farad cap and just the 800.2 and one 12"L7
