how do you take the top grille out?

how do you take the top grille out?

the bottom grille just snaps out right? how does the top come out? i'm thinking of painting the grille silver.

as far as I remembered, the lower is just held in by clips... but the upper is screwed in

from the engine bay-side unscreww the screws. the front grill is sandwiched with that shinny plastic thing, the bumper, and the girll

Ther upper is held in with clips. The chrome trim is screwed to the grille itself, not the body. Push on the grille from the front of the car and release the clips and it comes right out.
