I was just watching Fox 11 News, and they had a breaking story about a girl in a silver Scion xB was shot in Crenshaw, possibly with 2 small children sitting in the back. They showed the kids being taken out of a patrol car that was behind the xB and put into another car and taken away. The news is so new they didn't say whether the girl was ok or not and couldn't find anything yet on the news site.
Did anyone hear anything else?

Woman Shot Dead in SUV; 2 Children Unhurt

A gunman shot and killed a woman sitting in a sport utility vehicle in the Crenshaw district late Wednesday evening, but two small children in the vehicle were uninjured, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said.

The shooting occurred about 9:40 p.m. in the 4100 block of Buckingham Road. Police said they had not determined why the woman, 25, was shot.

"We don't know much more yet," LAPD Officer Kathy Simpson said. "We don't know if the children were hers or somebody else's."
