if you have NO credit cards, then a little from headers& exhaust won't put you in bad debt. you could easily pay that off.
but, if you can save up enough fast enough to appease your desire then wait.

you need CC for credit purposes.. i.e. buying a house, loan, car, etc..
i would of had a nice 6 year credit history BUT NO..stupid bank made a mistake and wouldn't correct it..so 1 year of credit for me and i have good credit..i use it and abused it..but its all for my selected purpose. I will pay them off with accumalated credit.
but yeah...dont abuse it and use it wisely..especially for your xb.

If you don't have any credit card payments, then it shouldn't take long to save up enough to buy the stuff you want instead of charging them to a card. As tempting as it is, my suggestion is to wait. Now that you have your balances down to ZERO, do what you can to keep them there. If you start charging now, who knows where it will stop! I'm sure you've worked hard to get to this point. Now work hard to stay there.
