"can you take a picture of..." pictures 56k warnin
ok, i just uploaded a bunch of misc tC pictures, and i'm just going to share them. take them for what they're worth, but they are not your standard profile kind of pictures. these pics are mainly for the tC buyer whose only been able to see publicity photos of the tC, and other common pics. so here goes
Got the odometer. it wasn't clear in the scion.com pictures, so if anyone is wondering what it looks like, here it is.

up close with the HVAC controls. in the lower left hand corner is the blinking led for the standard (comes with regardless of security system) engine immobilizer.

got to give a shout out to my IIP friends

this is what the scion keys look like, you get two with the standard (comes with) keyless entry system. the other is a valet key (you could pay more for the security system, but its worth jack at $500. i got a viper 791xv for less)

cup holder, ebrake, shifter and coin box. thats an air freshener in my cup holder. i drive alone most of the time.

front profile with fog lights (couple of people had asked for stock fog light pics)

how much space is really in the back of the hatchback. i added a case of 35 polland spring water bottles for reference. notice the front seat folds back flat. that is also the bazooka sub that fits so nicely in the wheel well. i dont understand the point of having a hatchback, but having a huge sub smack dab in the middle... but thats just me.

what the crappy stock head unit looks like. it does its job tho.

interior, foot pedals, dead pedal. i'm a 6'1" guy and i fit comfortably.

moonroof fully opened with the glass wind damn

washing and waxing your car after only 2 weeks of owning it... priceless.

mwah. i love my tC. will drive her till the floor falls out, and given its a toyota, wont happen for at least 15 years. (i had a '90 camry that still runs, before i got this car)

So much for the new car smell.
haha, i knew someone would ask me that. it was discussed in that air freshener thread: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=60538
but i HATE the new car smell. i want my car to smell like NOTHING. i put the in-cabin filter w/ active carcoal already, but doesn't quite get rid of that new car smell. this ai freshener is not overpowering, and is very subtle. nice hint of apple in the backgorund. you'd have to take a huge whiff of ait to really smell it. i like that.
for the life of me, can someone explain to me why people like that new car smell, and i'm trying to get rid of it? i should find a way to package and sell it. hahaha.

Nice pics. damn iip looks really good in the sun. the only thing is i thought the dash was more darker than that. i dont have a tc yet but is there any way to darken the dash without painting or dying it, maybe tint will make it a lil darker?
For the picture with the hatch down and the front passenger seat folded, is the front seat all the way folded down??
I didn't know it went that far... Or is it just an optical illusion?
It almost looks like the front passenger seat is backwards too!
