As some of you know my car was off the road for about 4 weeks to get some extensive stuff done to it.

I added a TWM performance short shifter, Kaminari kit and wing, Redling racing hydraulic hood lift, VHT caliper paint, Momo ****, and some more blitz stuff...

There's more to it than that, and I'm working hard on getting this boosted before summer, but it all depends on what I can work out with with Nexus Industries. I'll be talking to them tomorrow about the sponsership I recently acquired with them. Hopefully we can work out a good project.

I'd hate to cut things short but I need to get to some other things for now. I'll load up some pics, and if anyone has any other questions about the car, post up and I'll answer everything I can.

BTW... I will have much better pics in about a week or so, I'm really busy right now.

so how much TOTAL did it cost to buy, install and paint the kaminari kit and wing?

Kit cost 1620 shipped, paint was about 1300 for stock color and a PERFECT fitment job on the whole thing.

I'll take better pics at the end of the week. The underside of the wing was painted a flat black, as with the small lip on it, and on the inside of the bumper where you open the trunk. Came out really clean.

Holy crap, that is AWESOME! Absolutely love that kit. Are you gonna get the reverse cowl hood too when you go turbo? Freakin' sweet!

 

I may. As hard as this is to believe, my only intent was for performance for the car. Someone drove into it while it was parked so I figure why not just go for a kit and make it look better in the process.

If adding the reverse cowl will add performance by increasing cooling capabilities at the track, then I may do it. But I'm more concerned with turbos and engine management for the time being.

your kit looks great! so it was over 1000 dollars to paint your kit or the whole car? i have limited body work experience, is the kit easy to install from a profesionals stand point, or for anybody? i think your car looks better without the reverse hood, a little beefier.

 

I always liked the wheels on your car. As for the kit, not my style...I'd rather wait for better choices.

 

According to my body guy, have a professional do it. The passenger side skirt and rear bumper were a paint to get a perfect fit, but he did it.

I wouldn't go messing with it on your own, pay some one to do it and get it done right.
