Serius satellite radio support?
I've been looking into this too. What I have found is the stock Pioneer unit is Sat ready and all you need to do is add the Sirius tuner (SIR-PNR1 Sirius Digital Satellite Tuner for Pioneer Headunits) and the service. Scion will tell you that you can only use XM because they want you to buy it from them.

I'm still researching this as well. I called Crutchfield customer service today with questions on the Sirius SIR-PNR1 for Pioneer systems. They did not recommend the unit because it appears to be incompatible with a manufacturer's system - aftermarket units only. I don't believe the Pioneer T1804 HU in our '05s have an IP-Bus out either, but I haven't pulled it out to look. I've found squat info about the unit via Google. Here's the Pioneer/Sirius unit via the Sirius website:

Sirius has some seriously good deals going right now. Looks like maybe the Starmate for $50 w/rebate is a good go. I'm not crazy about using an FM broadcast for digital satellite, but since I'm not yet willing to swap out my HU yet, it'll work. Besides, it gives me the ability to move it to my other car.
Anyone else find out more on this?
