We didn't measure the before and after, but it was around a 1.9f and 1.7r if I recall correctly. We wanted the little extra in back in case the fiberglass gets heavy when we get around to putting the system together.

Also, I posted this in the Ice forum, but does anyone know if there's a double din kit available for the tC yet?

Reznor, a spoiler may come in the future, but there's a few factors it depends on. We wanted one of the TRF's, but apparently there were some fitment issues with the first batch that went out, and the revised versions haven't been released.

Thanks Necromancer, the next round of mods includes the vinyl.

I always wondered how that hood works when it rains... Does the rain just go into the engine bay?

Since when are tires an appearance mod? These tires hook up fine at the stock power levels.

Indecisive - Yes, the rain goes into the engine bay, much like spray from the road does as you drive in the rain. Modern engine compartments are water proofed from the factory though (molex connectors, etc), so there isn't much concern about it.

WarrenSteve - There was a couple reasons we stuck with the 17's. The car is a daily driver, so we wanted to keep a smooth ride. We almost went with the 18's, but for the price difference (including tires), we decided not to. Plus, the car may be getting a turbo next year unless a sponsorship comes up before then. Mickey Thompson makes some drag radials that will fit the 17's no problem, IF the turbo goes through.

I thought so, but he either painted it or got the stock kamanari hood (so it doesn't look stupid like other tC's I have seen that feel having a black cf hood on a non-black body or just putting it on cause they think it looks so cool). This is by FAR one of the best tC's modded here at SL. The other tC's were killed with paint, stupid fruity stickers, shopping cart spoilers, and other nasty upgrades.

Thanks for the compliments Necromancer, they really are appreciated.

The Kaminari hood comes in fiberglass or CF. We debated a CF version only for the idea of leaving an accent area unpainted around the lip of the reverse cowl, but we bailed on that idea to stick with the clean look. Fiberglass is also easier to work with if there is any bodywork that needs to be done on the hood to make it fit right. While the hood was a good fit out of the box, the guys at American Auto Body in Springfield, IL made it fit perfectly, and smoothed out some slight waves in the hood that were there out of the box. If we had opted for CF, there's not much you can do about stuff like that without ruining the finish.

Where did you get the hood from, creativecompacts? And did you have to paint it? Thanks, I know I'm like 4 days late!
