 I was hoping that someone had a option invoice list for 2005 xB that they would like to post. I found an option invoice list on edmonds.com but it was only partial. I know Consumers Reports do sell pretty good ones. Any help is appericated.
I will  to you!!!
Thank you

The list on edmunds.com covers mainly the "Scion Factory" accessories. Don't think for a minute that you are gonna get the dealer to negotiate on accessories. If you want to save $$$ on accessories, go to the web and purchase them on your own. If you want to get them financed with your Scion, buy them from the dealer.

Well put.
Compared to the Toyota side, there really isn't that much markup in the options anyway for Scion. You can find the stuff cheaper on the web, but if you want to finance/have dealer installed you're going to have to pay Scion MSRP. Dealerships aren't allowed to discount.

People that come into our dealership quoting prices from edmunds don't get anywhere. Then they leave all huffy and upset, go to the other dealerships in the area, don't get anywhere with that nonsense there either. It's a no win situation. People just can't handle having a set price on a car, it's like they just wanna come battle. Sorry for the let down, but the price is the price. If you find a dealership selling parts for less than listed price, figure they can only get away with it for so long. I have fun turning in shady dealerships to Scion corporate. It's a really good way for them to lose the ability to sell Scions or even parts for that matter.

Every time you hear a dealer saying that they are not allowed to discount below msrp, RUN, fast.
They will keep up saying that until the demand eases up and then magically the prices will come down or offered at a percentage off.
All the dealers know when they have a good thing going and want to milk it for as long as they can.
You can count on a dealer saying almost anything as long as it benefits themselves.
Lets just say "fibbing" is part of selling as far as they are concerned, anything for a sale.

Er, the dealers CAN sell accessories at below manufacturer MSRP so long as it is a posted price available to anyone.
It's the 'haggle for best price' scenario that Scion Corporate is trying to control.
The last accessory I bought from my dealer was at that dealer's posted usual price - and that price was below Scion's MSRP. All perfectly legit.

Um, no, those are the rules for Scion. That's the whole "pure price" thing. It's like Wal-Mart or the grocery store. The price on the tag is the price. If the dealership does otherwise, Scion punishes them.
TRD Sparks and McGeorge are such large volume dealerships they can afford to sell the parts for slightly cheaper. Most dealerships can't afford to do that and pay their employees at the same time.

from everything i heard, the only thing they can discount are the parts that they supply.
such as,
leather package
sunroof
dealer installed rims

No, the only real requirement is that the public price - the posted price - must be the only price.
Other than that, the corporation gives a price point recommendation, but it is up to the dealer to decide if that is the price they will post.
Most do.

True...very good point. A dealership can sell the cars or the accessories for whatever they want, as long as they clearly post the price in the showroom and on the web, and keep it consistant. Some dealerships actually do discount their prices, but because it's the normal pricing it doesn't really count as a "discount" where someone can come in a haggle...i.e. "throw in the floormats and you gotta deal!"
There is so little markup in Scion pricing though, that most places don't bother. At full MSRP there is rediculously low profit in a Scion.
Scion audits every dealership monthly to see if they comply with pure pricing. They take it very seriously and dealers who screw around lose inventory. I've seen it happen.
There is no fibbing, there are no games, and there is no "milking a good thing." It's simply a great car at a fair price, to the customer. In my opinion salespeople aren't making enough off Scion.
