This is probably a strange question to many people :roll: , but I want to know what sound the car makes when a door is open with the keys in the ignition. Is it a bell (ding-dong), a deep ring (bee-bee)??

to answer your question it makes a loud beeeeeee consistently.

i kinda hate it. i would prefer if it made a happy bell-type sound (ala old skool caddilac) or a creepy robot voice like on the eightes z's.

It makes the loud beeee consistently when u leave the lights on and the ignition off.

Hahaha I remember those..."the door is ajar, the door is ajar" gets pretty annoying after awhile...makes you wanna slap that person who said it.

my maxima did that .... when we bought it we had the choice of a man or woman's voice .... picked the sexy lady :roll:

btw .... in the acc position it beeps constantly, in the run position it beeps 3 times and stops
