I don't have the roady2, but I believe it has an fm modulator. i.e. it broadcasts the signal over fm and you tune that frequency on your regular deck. Controlling the roady would have to be done on the roady, not the deck in your car. This is not the best way of doing this, but it's the easiest. If possible, connect the roady into the deck. This will make a huge difference in clarity. XM has great quality (way, way better than fm) and by using the modulator you are killing the clarity.

Default No direct connects for Roady to stock Pioneer in XB

I have a Roady that I plugged into my Nissan via aux input in the front of the Radio.

I purchased my XB April 23rd and purchased the Toyota XM unit. This does directly connect to the back of the stock Pioneer unit in the XB.

Hope this helps.

Default Jacks in the back....

There are no jacks in the back of the stock radio to connect the Roady or any other after market device in.

The jacks that I saw could only be used with the Toyota XM unit.

I watched the guy install mine in the shop.

I did see in a previous post a device that plugs into cig lighter that would modulate the signal to the radio. Sorry but I do not recall the name of the device, or the exact post.

Hope this helps.

There's a PIE adapter you can get to convert one of the inputs into RCA plugs.
