Default Intake System + Air/Fuel Controller

hey guys...what type of power gains will u notice after adding the AF controller. I know that the intake system inputs more air into the TB however without increased fuel, it doesnt seem like gains will be large. Also, what types of AF controllers are there and how hard is the install? ive seen apexi AF controllers, anything else out there?

your ECU should be more than capable of matching an increase in fuel to the increased air from an intake.

Without adding more fuel, an intake would effectively do nothing except make your car run lean which isn't exactly the best thing in the world.

An AF controller will be able to do the same job the ECU does, but better, with fuel supplied to maximize power, rather than fuel efficiency or emissions.

An AF controller will likely increase your power regardless of intake, although a complete setup (intake, headers, exhaust) will maximize the benefits. If you are doing FI (turbo or supercharged), then an AF controller is practically a must.

you don't need it, search and read, your not putting a turbo kit on, the stock ecu can compensate for bolt ons.
