Do you think a rear wiper will be helpful for us TC drivers? It will surely come in handy during rain/snow. Most of the hatch backs have them and out TC doesnt. I dont know why. Can I install an after market one? Any suggestions? Just wondering.

 

I used to have one on my last car a dodge stealth and I do miss it sometimes. However I like the cleaner look without one.

 

RainX is your friend. It requires no drilling or wire splicing to get it to operate. ^^ Seriously though, I live in Michigan and the rear window really hasn’t been an issue (has a damn good defroster). At least not enough of an issue for me to make a mental note of it, and that’s w/o any RainX applied. So, if it does bother you, give RainX a try first (assuming you havent already).

im glad it doesnt have one. i think they look ugly, and i really dont need one anyways. the defroster does the job for me.

 

I guess the TC engineers went for the ergonomics looks than a practical application. As you all mentioned the defroster does the job. Just thought I should mention it though. Thanks.

P.S. Rain X is good. I tried it and I like it... lol...

 

A rear window wiper would eventually leave an arched scratch on the window after some time. The tC looks sharper without one and thats one less thing to go wrong on the tC.

 

I agree. I used Rain-X on Sunday and it rained this morning. Was VERY nice. The water just beaded up and rolled off. Def better than a wiper.

 

I think rear wipers look ugly, I'm glad we dont have one on our car.
