Default Factory Wheels

Hi Everyone,

Long time reader, first time poster here!

I am going to finally be buying my xB in the next week or two, and have a question for you all. I was on www.bennettscion.com and they list the S-14 wheels in addition to the EM-7s. I definately want factory wheels, and have never seen the S-14s. I gather that these are older ones? If someone has them and would be able to post a pic, I would appreciate it!

Thanks in advance!

I just installed the EP-10 wheels on my xB. It's actually sold as a set for the xA, but it fits on the xB and, in my opinion, actually looks much better than the EM-7. The S-14 aluminun wheels, to me, looks like hub-caps -- t doesn't look sporty. Go to www.scion.com and check out the EP-10, made for the xA, but fits well on the xB.

BTW, the reason I purchased the factory aluminum wheels, instead of after-markets, is because I wanted to work the cost into my monthly car payment. I'm assuming you've chosen the same route?

Oooh... I definately do like the EP-10s.... Do you think they will let me get them at the dealer just like I was getting the EM-7s, or will I need to buy them seperately??

My dealer allowed me to get them in place of the EM-7s. It really doesn't matter to them, because the aluminum wheels are all accessories. You pay the same.

Thanks! It's good to be here! I've been waiting for a xB since they came out, and I'm garduating from college in June... perfect time to buy one! I'm gonna be gettin a Blue Onyx Pearl xB, noe with the EP-10s, fog lights, spoiler, and a few of the interior options. I settled on the stock stereo for now, which will be replaced with a Pioneer DEH-P80MP head unit (with the iPod adapter), Infinity Kapa Perfect components in the front and Kapa Perfect full range in the back, Hooked up to a 4 channel infinity amp, and the Infinity BassLinkX sub. Needless to say, I can't wait!

Are you getting your Infinity Basslink from Crutchfield? I spent almost an hour online talking with their tech and man, the raves on the Infinity! I have my Xb on order and am chosing the TRD wheels. One of the first things my wife is allowing me to do... is to upgrade the speakers, add the basslink, and the amp. With all the wiring harnesses, cable, complete instructions, etc....about a grand. Let me know how it sounds if you beat me to the punch.

I work part time at Circuit City, so I can get the basslink on accomodation from infinity dirt cheap. We have it installed at the store in the demo area and it does sound pretty good. If you are looking for a decent sounding sub, are not looking to shake the neighborhood, and like the idea of an all in one unit (as I do) then you really can't go wrong.

Heres a really crappy picture, but there you go: This is immediately after installing springs and painting calipers.
