Who has them? Any problems?

*I just went out tonight to take some night pics and one of the halos is out?

Has anyone pryed the lights open? Change the halo LEDs?

i don't have halo on my xb but i had them on my honda civic,they look great but they didn't light up the road as well as the stock and they would fog up when it rained,one of my halo was not working think the bulb blow,anyway if you gonna get them it's all about luck,you might get a good set or you might get a bad set.......

 

i already have them...

i dont have the fogging issue.. we resealed them..

but one of the halos plooped out...

has anyone opened these up and replaced it?

I have them too, they are just very cheaply made.
I really wish someone would come out with some nice high quality projectors for the xB.

 

i dont believe it was revzo... i'll double check, but im pretty sure it'll be more of a hassle to try and exchange them.

observation:: the halo doesnt even fully light up in any pics i've seen. they need to come out with a better halo ring.

 

Yeah, I've opened them up a couple of times, resealed them, haven't changed the halo color though. I'm working on a write up for resealing them, just haven't had time to label pictures and post it up.

 

I would like to see that.

Any comments on the best quality brand would be helpful too.

the single halo with eyebrows are made by Anzo. I believe the dual halo with 3 led's are made by Helix.

To me the Anzo headlights look like better quality but you have to like their look. My Anzo's fogged up last night so they are not perfect either.

 

I picked up my Helix dual halos for like $115. I've sealed them to prevent fogging (haven't had any yet, but it hasn't rained yet either). The only thing I'm really worried about is the damn halo part falling out of place or the LEDs going out. I've heard those are two common problems.

 

I've had mine for about a months. 5 or 6 heavy rains and car washes and never fogged yet (knock on wood).

 

hopefully one of the halos going out is just that wire getting loose..

im afraid to have Hitz of IICONZ™ rip the lights open =\

Just got my anzos and they made so much better
even dot stamped so you know they are good
the duals are made by a company called HELIX
supported by scion sport
they are all over ebay, and they suck dont get em!!!!
They do look hot, but why pay money to modify something that should be made well in the first place
I have had mine in for like 6 months now

The Anzos arent that great either. Every pair of those that I have seen fogs too.

 

Do the Anzo's have the glass housing?
